Hi everyone! I need a feedback on my website!

Mon May 12, 2008, 11:54 AM
i redesigned my website, it's still not as fancy as i wanted.
but i had to finish it! i hope it looks interesting enough for now,
and i can sell my prints via paypal too.

i have a favor to ask, your feedback-
what do you like or don't like about bluecitrusart website?[link]
does the home page makes you want to look further through the website?
is the navigation easy enough?
and whatever else you think you can add.
thanks a lot!
i would return the favor to anybody who asks too!

"as far as going threw your gallery is a bit confusing",- i was worried about that, why is it confusing? i need to change that, i don't like confusion..
thanks for the reply!

I really like it, I think the way the menu system for your photo gallery works is a bit confusing at first, but its easy to get used to...only extra thing I'd like to see is details of what camera etc was used for the pictures.

Otherwise great job!

Hi! nice to hear from you! thank you for your input, i really appreciate it.
that's what i was thinking about the menu..i'm just burnt out on tweaking with it. i'll take a break and may be work on it some more later. i'm having problem categorizing everything.
as far as camera info, i do have a camera type and film next to a picture..at least in polaroid section, but may be i need to wright more details..still work in a never ending progress :)

I don't think necessarily that your portfolio is confusing, but more of it's too complex. Usually, simplicity is key, especially since it's about the work and not about how fancy the website is. Does that make sense?

Also, the rising arrow keys on your photos are distracting.

I like it.
The browsing was different, but not that confusing or whatever.

I wish I was motivated enough to do my site.
what did you make yours with?

hey jamie! you think it's complex.. i was worried it might look too simple...
i spent days and weeks on trying to come up with the best categorizing of my stuff..im still thinking of a better way to have a portfolio set up..i don't know, it's a never ending process.
thanks for the input! :)

thanks, Brain! I used OPP (Otherpeoplepixels), to host it. they have cool templates that you can use and they have just programming with "do the rest yourself" which i chose, becouse i still wanted to use my own design and such. they provided resizing and cool technical stuff that i didn't want to deal with. and it's $16 a month. i think you should def. try them, i think it's totally for you. they have 14 days free trial (that's what i did, i played with it for a couple of weeks, and i decided to go with it for now).
it took me under a month to built it, pretty cool.
here is the link if you're interested OPP[link]
